The Castle Chapel was once part of “Krogen”, the original medieval fortress that was built in the early 15th century. During the Renaissance, Frederick II decorated the chapel, leaving no stone unturned. The chapel is one of the few rooms in the castle which escaped the flames in the fire of 1629.
