About Royal Palaces
We provide information on the history of the Danish royal palaces and gardens and the adventures that lie hidden within their walls.
The palaces contain great art treasures, world-class architecture, gold and precious jewels. They were the stage for dramatic, historical events, love stories and the unfolding of family feuds.
The royal palaces and gardens were once the preserve of the top echelons of society – the royal family and the nobility. Today, they are open to anyone wishing to explore the magical and mysterious world that they enclose.
The website gives you an overview of the palaces and the attractions you can explore. It also gives you details of guided tours, the online shop, the stores and the amenities that are available for you to hire for your chosen event.
Follow us on Facebook where we will let you know about upcoming cultural and other events.
Royal Palaces is managed by National Museum of Denmark.
